Scholars in Special Education
ADD offers a scholarship annually to a Steele county high school seniors interested in pursuing a career in special education!

A letter from a scholarship recipient:

Dear ADD, I wanted to thank you for your help in my education by granting me the $500.00 scholarship.  I also wanted to thank you for your continuous support of the community and how you help all the families through the difficulties of having or living with someone who has a disability.

I know you all helped me and my family, so thank you. You have all made a huge difference in my and many other's lives.  ~S.P.~
 

Scholarship Opportunity

Advocates for Developmental Disabilities Scholarship

Advocates for Developmental Disabilities of Steele County (ADD) is offering a scholarship for students who received special education services during their high school years.

Scholarship Criteria:
• Must be accepted at a two or four year-college or vocational school
• Involvement in school and/or community activities

Scholarship applications may be downloaded below or picked up from school counselors or the career center at area high schools in Owatonna, Medford, or Blooming Prairie. 

Applications for 2018 must be turned in to the ADD office by Monday, April 30th.
